Just wanted to post this here for anyone thinking of getting RX 7900 series.
This user on OCN posted his cards testing here, then in this post we see he has RM750X.

I asked Powercolor directly, they told me it is 1yr, others are making an error by displaying 2 years. I've asked them to check with Far East to be sure but documents to hand state 1yr warranty on MBA boards with Powercolor as advertised correctly on OcUK.

Cheers for clarifying that, wouldn't be a happy chappy buying elsewhere to find out later the warranty is non-existent after 12 months if RMA.
Indeed speaking to a guy at TUL now, he states HQ has said MBA boards are 1yr, custom boards are 3yr.

Does that only apply to PowerColor, or all? I did toy with the idea of the MBA, I'm part of the Nitro+ group. Expect a pre-order from me next week.
Other brands are 2 or 3yr on the MBA.

Very surprised PowerColor went that route, oh well... I'll patiently wait for a Nitro+.
Yes I was shocked, surprised and informed them what a stupid move, I think it is because AMD only give 1yr warranty, so they are essentially just passing that on, whereas other AIB's have stuck with their usual warranty term.

AMD is two year with MBA bought from AMD shop. It’s the same as 6000 MBA.
Only communicating what Powercolor are telling me, if they want to state 1yr, that is their choice, I am not going to do something different to what they state just because I don't agree with it and I've told them I am not happy about it at all.

Thanks, refund from XTX just came through, in less than 48 hours after request, will mean I can still pick up something decent for Christmas day, not what I'd hoped for but disaster will be averted

That could cost them dearly or they purely don't care? Priced reduced or msrp, some ill-informed customer will buy and could pay for it dearly later. Either way, that was a crazy move considering other partner offerings. Oh well, is what it is I suppose but I expected more from PowerColor.

Yep just stating that when you buy from AMD directly it’s two year. Powercolor is different from that.

There is no price drop, USD cost is unchanged I’ve just reduced to near cost due to 1yr warranty.
I see no movement in USD price and until that happens any change price wise in GBP, Euro is just currency or margin reduce by reseller.

PC offering a 1 year warranty on a card? I don't care what the card is, that's abysmal. That's my last PC card on principle, and I have had half a dozen brilliant cards from them over the years.

Thank you for all the updates and transparency on back orders, it's the best service I've experienced and will most certainly be using OCUK for most future hardware purchases.
A little sad I wont be getting a card in time for my girlfriends NYE vr set, but that's just how it goes sometimes. I'm excited to see how it performs in VRChat compared to a 1080ti, it has served me well over the pandemic.
Thank you once again for the promises of upgrades, after the difficulty obtaining a card in 2020 it's really appreciated getting one at all. Y'all are awesome!
