AMD Ryzen 3700x stock cpu core voltage very high

I think my pc are now stable. What I did is set dram freq at 1600MHz and Memory set at 3200MHz and put dram voltage at 1.35v and set timing at 16-18-18-38-74-1T and it seem stable so far for 2 hours now without pc shutdown.
Look like Corsair memory isn't stable at 3600MHz with D.O.C.P profile enabled. I disabled it and use 3200MHz with my manual timing instead. CAS16.

CPU now reading 3600 - 4400MHz on core clock.

I heard this ram are very good without issues https://www.gskill.com/specification/165/170/1535961634/F4-3200C14D-16GFX-Specification

Updated: seem pc are now stable ongoing. Memory speed: 3200MHz, Memory dram freq: 1600MHz, Dram voltage: 1.350v Timing: 16-18-18-38-74-1T as D.O.C.P are disabled.

Does anyone know stable of ram speed 3600MHz timing please?

Thanks guys for all help. I stick with my 1600fclk for 3200mhz with timing 16-18-18-38-74-1T for now. Still stable as rock. Happy with Cas16 rather than Cas18.

The correct timing on ram speed 3200MHz all day long and overnight with lots of stress test and idle are fine. No hardware error so far and no shutdown lately. Should be OK. But I will try all this tomorrow with heavy stress test and run memory test etc. I was bit too tired.

You need to run proper stress testing apps to find true stability. You cant just dial in settings in bios and see how long it idles for without crashing.
Start with basic memtest before booting os then run linpack for a few hours then run testmem5 overnight.

Not good at all  as it failed, So, I have to go back to bios and put everything cpu, ram on auto default ran all on auto and ran this test as it passed for stock speed memory fclk @ 1333mhz @ 2666mh. Will try ran this test again tomorrow this time enabled D.O.C.P profile and if fail, then the ram kits going back to overclockers and I will exchange to GSkills ram instead. Corsair ram sound rubbish piece of ram kits never stable.

Do I input the right setting below?

What does this mean?

Fclk isn’t stable and needs lowering, it you’re getting that with fclk at 1600 is lower then I’d contact AMD and RMA the cpu.

Oh great! Not a great start! All on auto default, ram at stock speed.

It's keep doing this as got 14 errors then pc shutdown itself. I am fed up now, upset and feel like throwing pc system in the bin! feel very annoying now. Look like I wasted £980 throw in the drain.

Wish I never upgraded to AMD, but should have upgraded to Intel 10700K. I regret now.:mad:

When I put D.O.C.P enabled and all the rest on auto default. Fclk @ 1800mhz and ram speed 3600mhz (DOCP) with voltage 1.350v with Timing 18-22-22-22-42-83 1T (report in bios) I can see windows hardware errors (WHEA) shoot up to 36 errors within 5 minutes while the pc on idle it shutdown itself and turn back on itself.

When I put D.O.C.P disabled and all the rest on auto default. Fclk @ 1333mhz and ram speed 2666mhz (stock) with voltage 1.200v with Timing 18-18-18-18-43-61 1T (report in bios) I can see windows hardware errors (WHEA) has ZERO within 10 minutes while the PC on idle and no shutdown issues so far.

When I put D.O.C.P enabled and all the rest on auto default except I change on ram speed from 3600mhz to 3666mhz. Fclk @ 1833mhz and ram speed 3666mhz (DOCP) with voltage 1.350v with Timing 18-22-22-22-42-84 1T (report in bios) I can see windows hardware errors (WHEA) staying ZERO within 34 minutes while the pc on idle without shutdown issues.

How odd is this? Hope it stable now!

Contact AMD to arrange an RMA detailing the errors and shutdown and they send you out a new cpu.

Well that's it. The CPU are going back to overclocker or AMD for replacement! The pc has shutdown again with error after idle for 1 hour and 40 minutes! Very disapppointed can't believe how could AMD sent faulty CPU Retail Box?

I have decided to send both AMD motherboard and cpu back to overclockers for a full refunded. Not happy with AMD. Will buy Intel motherboard and cpu (10700K) with msi mag Z490 Tomahawk for intel socket 1200

Yes I am unlucky guy but don't understand why isn't AMD do processor diagnostic tool software just like Intel processor diagnostic tool did?

I just read this thread as it sound like much similiar to mine here: https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/whea-logger-event-19-errors-on-3900x.274510/ and this one as well https://www.reddit.com/r/AMDHelp/comments/k0a3z8/ryzen_5_5600x_whealogger_event_19/ and other one here: https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...orrected-hardware-error-has-occurred.3680745/

Dear ASUS Customer,

Thank you for contacting ASUS Support.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

My name is Ivo and it would be my pleasure to assist you today in the best way I can.

I understand that you do have an issue with the device.

What I can offer you to do is to take the power plug out off the power supply, then press and hold the power button on the computer for about 20 seconds.

After that you can do a quick CMOS reset.

We have a really good guide on our website that should be able to help you with that.

Please see it here - https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1040820/

After this go into the BIOS > Advanced Menu > APM Configuration, from here set the ERP Ready to Enabled S4 + S5 or Enabled S5 and set the Restore AC Power Loss to Last State and test the motherboard again.

If you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,

Did try this, pc shutdown again itself after few minutes on idle. I will sent CPU back to overclockers to get it replaced. As overclockers told me they will not refunded for both cpu and motherboard to exchange to Intel. But they will replaced cpu only.
