AMD Ryzen 3700x stock cpu core voltage very high

Odd indeed. I will check for updated versions
Yeah I know seem so strange but the main thing is Linpack Xtreme v1.1.5 has passed with more stress memory and cpu temp max 80C. All passed. That's good enough for me for my stable PC.
Memory-test-passed.jpg

I usually let it run for 24hours or more

No thanks, not gonna to kill my cpu like degradation. I done linpack on my Intel i7 2700K @ 4.8GHz with 16GB ram 20x run and prime95 for 24 hours all passed 13 years ago and never crashed or freeze ever since. No point to do it if it passed 20 times! More than enough I know my pc will be fully stable! Why doing it for 24 hours? I am not into heavy gaming !

Only use pc for internet, email, social media networking, watching you tube, bbci player, netflix, nowtv etc.

Both LinX and Linpack Xtreme are basically interfaces for Linpack. I know back in the day when i used LinX, it was quickly outdated, and some forum members provided updated Linpack binaries etc... but it was all unofficial. So in the end i just switched to Linpack Xtreme and never looked back.

They are doing one and the same thing, just with a different UI. So if Linpack Xtreme works and confirms the stability, there's no need to use LinX in addition. That "not enough memory" is probably just a bug of LinX.

Thanks to someone metion to me. I am very pleased to hear that my pc stable now with Linpack Xtreme works and confirms the stability! End of!

Arrrrrrrgggggg:mad::mad:

My pc first time shutdown itself for no reason. I haven't changed anything in the bios or windows since last stable April 23rd.

WHEA one error today (that was first shutdown)
A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Unknown Error Source
Error Type: No Error

and do you get this issue with ram running at 3000mhz?

No it was running 3600MHz since April 23rd..no issues until WHEA error pop up May 26th and pc suddenly shutdown itself and back on. I look up event viewier it was WHEA error with processor core.
I have done bios load optimized defaults and leave everything on defaults (no overclock on cpu, memory etc) see what happen next few days and let u know. The memory back to stock default @ 2666MHz.

Hmm cpu degradation....
Can't be as I never overclock it (the cpu was 4.2GHz fixed all cores at under 1.2v) with memory DOCP at 3600MHz at 1.35v how can it degradation? The cpu is still NEW since 15th March 2021 from overclockers.

I found it under event viewer:

Just saw this thread: sound like my cpu was faulty one will going to RMA it with overclockers next week to get it replaced! See last page on bottom one: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...a/8a00a6e1-a921-4799-9c66-961cea97474e?page=2

Hi Igor,

I figured in the end, it's the CPU that is faulty. I managed to get my hands on the same processor as mine, and while testing that, my system was fine (no restarts, no warning, which were happening 50 times per operation with my other CPU).

I tested it for two days and I have no issues with it.

I tried putting my old processor back in and now the warnings have come back.

I don't think them warnings I was getting were normal:

A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Unknown Error Source
Error Type: Translation Lookaside Buffer Error
Processor APIC ID: 7

I even got some error similar to the warning above that caused my PC to restart.

Ryzen has high failure rate. Fanboys will tell you different.
The silly high voltages they run do cause degradation only AMD hope it lasts 3 years since then its out of warranty and not their problem to deal with.

If that true case then overclockers should honour me and replaced everything to Intel instead. NOT HAPPY AT ALL:mad:
