Cpus come in smaller boxes and are easier to ship/produce.. So it should be better then 3080 launch

While all true, that's not relevant to Nvidia's disaster. Previous Nvidia launches, AMD's GPU launches, etc show that you can have a proper launch if you want to. The issue was, Nvidia didn't want to. They decided to rush it to the market several months before they were ready to do a proper launch.

To just say "GPUs are more difficult to make" takes the blame away from Nvidia, as if there was no choice but to have this disastrous launch.

I am saying amd shoukd to much better with cpus..
I am not sure though if their cpu lauch will be any better than nvidias

My heart want the 5900x but all I do is game at 1440p on my rig so no real point getting it over a 5800x says my head.

8c/16t is perfect for a gaming PC, matches the next-gen consoles so you won't have any issues for quite a while

Yup I know, This is what I say to people when I recommend pc builds lol. May have to listen to my head and take my own advice for a change
