195 ffs
Same Here. Worst buying experience ever. Never buying from here againSo i was position 52 on the friday after launch on November 5th for a 5600X, and as of right now im position 16. Which means OCUK have shipped no more than 30 5600x since its release date.
A certain competitor has announced that they have recieved a shipment of 160 5600x's and they have already shipped them out to their pre-order customers. Really regretting ordering from OCUK, their lack of transparency is honestly appalling, and not to even mention the fact that they charge a premium over their competitors anyway!
Can't wait for my CPU to arrive so i can finally build this pc and never use OCUK again, they honestly take the p***.
Rant over, sorry gents.
So you've not been reading the stock update thread then?I have been number 9 in the queue for a week and a half now for 5600x. Do we know when more stock is coming in? The secrecy is killing me.
I've tried ringing and sending off a web form but can't get hold of anyone.
"5600X - 145 units shipped so far, 2000 units are due by end of December and will clear all backorders."
Does this mean they have shipped 145 yesterday/today or since the 5th?
At the end of the month or by the end of the month?Since release.
Looks like large quantities of stock of all SKUs landing at the end of the month if you look around.
cant help but think they rushed it out the door to meet the holiday buying season when in reality volume wasn’t actually arriving until right at the end of December/early Jan.
After reading some of the post I felt a repost and an update that my cpu came in a sealed retail box.Thank you Overclockers for your service. I will definitely be using you again. However the lack of Haribo in my last package is unexceptale. Hope you can source some more soon. I got a 3080 some weeks back and now the ryzen 9 5900x has arrived. (q 75th)I was doing the same as a lot of you here were, refreshing and pulling my hair out at the start of each launch. Hold on they are doing the best they can. Some of the lack of updates I'm sure has to do with security. Remember the truckload of Apple stuff high jacked a couple of weeks back. Again, thanks Overclockers, I can't believe I just home built an air cooled pc that is in the top 5% in fire strike.
So another month of waiting? GreatAt/by - same thing really, if you read Gibbo’s update and the updates given by others they all say roughly the same. Lots of stock coming at the end of the month which will clear all back orders and plenty left for sale.
That said I expect what’s left will sell very quickly.
But they didn't have much to sell so surely the result is the same?Like I said, product launch was rushed out the door to meet the holiday buying season. In reality the event should have been this week, on sale next week or the week after with the second wave of stock arriving at the end of the month.
Unfortunately that doesn’t work with the holiday buying season calendar.
Will see I guess. Just frustrating. Its all I need to finish my build. Will upgrade the GPU when things settle down next year.Yup, but no one would be moaning on the forum that they have to wait another month for their day 1 order to be delivered because they wouldn’t have actually ordered yet...
Same goes for Nvidia and AMDs GPU launches. But little sign of any volume deliveries there, just seems to be tricking in week by week so maybe that’s all we’re going to get.
It is probably already here, just stuck in the mess that is our ports due to other issues...Container ship making it to the uk this month eh. A lot of cpus turning up at once for multiple retailers.
