AMD RYZEN 5000 SERIES 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X NOW ONLINE AT OcUK!!

They better have the haribo's as well.
Ocuk had a lot on order for release date but got screwed over by AMD and they were not updated as to when they would turn up I understand there is the covid along with restrictions to slow things down while trying to get the orders out so less time for updates but a no info in the thread would not have hurt :D even if we didn't like it lol at the end of the day oc is trying hard and paying over the odds and AMD are not doing their reputation any good by doing this I suspect Intel will end up pulling the same stunt when they launch their new cpu it seems the new in thing for them to rush it out and flop on the sales I just wish they would pull their head out of their A$$ and get the stock to the masses when promised. Thanks for trying oc

Bet you wish you had a few thousand in stock on launch day Gibbo you would have made a killing lol!

Will see I guess. Just frustrating. Its all I need to finish my build. Will upgrade the GPU when things settle down next year.
I’m in the same boat. it was so depressing when i was building my whole PC, got to my cpu cooler and couldn’t do much more than mount the RAD to the case and that’s about it haha

I've been there for a few months lol!
I think its very clear at this point that every launch this year has been rushed and they clearly have not been prepared at all. They can talk about demand all they want but with how slowly stocks are being replenished I think its obvious they were not remotely ready for these launches.

End of the days guys it's all perspective. JUst be lucky you're not in hospital with this damn covid thing relying on a respirator to keep you alive. If you're dead a CPU means nowt.

We all have heard about the stock issues and we are also able to cancel our pre-orders and "purchase" elsewhere (you know what I mean). I know it's frustrating to know where the shiny new CPU is, I'm in the same boat but I guess OC and the team have to also take perspective that most of you complaining are just venting and have to also take this with a pinch of salt and accept they can't keep everyone happy 100% of the time. They are also working in covid working conditions making things much slower and taking more time to do stuff. With also the demand, it's just a lot to deal with. Would you rather Gibbo update the forum or call his suppliers and chase them up. I'm sure he and his team are also getting fobbed off with those getting told false promises.

2020 has been an interesting year, think we just need to step back, realise that we are alive and not fighting for our lives and just enjoy our Christmas what way we can. I'll enjoy my new 5600x at the end of the month when there is more stock being reported by multiple sources is incoming.

Stay safe all.

Fair points. Although stock was supposed to be getting replenished regularly so I'm not holding my breath. But yes a lot of what you said is fair. Hopefully we can all stay well to enjoy products we are waiting for.

It all depends on your definition of ‘regularly’. I eat 3 times a day, go to the shops once per week, take meter readings once per month and go on holiday once per year (well i did...). I’d call all of those ‘regularly’ but they are all vastly different timescales.

Stock will have been replenished two or three times since launch by the end of the month. Is that regularly?

When the manufacturer originally stated weekly I would say not.

Well 5950x arrived safe and well.... Along woth Haribos so now just waiting on Strix 3090.

Pretty certain that's a 2021 delivery if 4000 series doesn't arrive first. Lol

Hope the rest get notifications of your cpus soon.

100% the right attitude - these really are first world problems.. & if you're lungs have turned to a gelatinous mess the last thing you'd need or care about is a CPU!

I appreciate OCUK being open in this thread and providing updates, though I do think other companies have had some more transparency/easier to find information regarding this.. a landing page off the main site regularly updates would have done wonders for comms.. perhaps something to consider for next time..

Anyway.. 5950x has arrived! All sealed up too.. & looks very very shiny!

No haribo's (I aint mad.. just dissapointed) ..

Now the choice is wait for the CH8 DH, grab an Aurous master, or trust in the beta bios that Asus have just released for my CH7! :)

I’d suggest contacting support and they should sort it for you

OK so I have an update, and to say I'm seething isn't enough to convey my current state of emotions.

After countless days of not being able to contact the sales team (I have managed to contact other departments) I decided to write a polite webnote explaining that I know there is a massive backlog and I'm in a queue and that I just want an email confirmation of my order and my place in the queue.

I got an email back within 24 hours, asking which email address my order was linked to and I provided the details. Another 48 hours go by and here I am ranting because OC have just cancelled my order with no explanation!

The unprofessionalism is unreal. I am minded to write to the CEO at his registered address in Germany. What kind of operation are these people running?!

Usually you get a reminder of your queue position every friday.
