I noticed a few had sold on ebay already. That's just the world we live in unfortunately. It's a CPU though, supply will catch up with demand fairly quickly IMO.

I must admit I like my storage.
Not so much into overclocking so went for the Asrock X870E Nova. 5 nvme slots. No PCIe lane sharing although it does mean a disabled pcie slot since I'm using all 5. Won't be using it anyway. Already got them all filled
I see OCUK also have stopped the pre order sales on the 9800X3D now and it says "notify me" to let you know when its back in stock.
These must have still been selling like mad for them to stop the pre orders on them now
They've ordered 10,000 - not they GOT 10,000 I suspect their first batch was around 500 given that at one point Gibbo said they'd had 1200 orders in and weren't expecting to fulfil all of those till December
If I was buying new I wouldn't buy anything less than the x870. I believe only the x870 and the x870e have support for the latest interfaces. I don't see the point in buying a new mobo (especially if I'm getting a 9800x3d) and not have one with pcie 5 for example.
