The Top end Crosshair is a bargain compared to the X99 Deluxe and Rampage boards.
If I didn't have my 5820K system right now I'd get that and the 1800X

That 980ti must be crying it's eyes out with that powering it. My 920 @4ghz is just about enough for my 290 in well threaded games where you only have 4 cores.

Agreed. Raja did say that AMD wanted to make a 4K capable system with all the case components for less than $1000, so I do expect some competitive pricing from them with Vega. I am still totally impressed with the Ryzen prices but just need to see some scores in things like Firestrike/Catzilla etc.

Damn right, and all three CPU's are the same, so overclock the 1700 to 1800X levels, if it can make it that far.

Agreed! Even if the 1700 clocks to 4Ghz it's still a very tasty (and powerful!) system

Can't wait for the reviews tbh, might buy one to have a play with

I'm sure a 300mhz clock is doable....I'm defo getting one...

I'm also thinking of ditching Intel and NV selling my X34 and going Vega

The 1700 base clock is 3Ghz though; but does still have a nice Boost clock.

Maybe the 1700x is the safer bet for x1800 speeds...

Still at 389 it's mighty good value....

Makes intels offerings like the 6900k at 1k ludicrous tbh.
