PCIE-2.0 should not be limit here and the CPU seems to max at 75% in that GTX 1080 video so not really be a bottleneck. The FPS shown there (55 - 62FPS ish) seems pretty good for a GTX 1080 (see GTX 1080 review FPS with a i7-6700K here : http://www.techspot.com/review/1174-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080/page4.html)

That's a full map too, The Vega run looked a lot emptier, I'm cool with a 1080 competitor though, As long as it's priced sensibly.

I'll pass judgement when its independently tested but from 'that' fottege it sure as hell looks significantly faster than a 1080 at 4K in that game.
on a empty map, with 8 core CPU and with PCIE 3.0 support on 4K.

That'll be nice if true, All that bother me is how it runs ultrawide 1440 and I'll know as soon as I can get my hands on one. It looks like it's do a good job.
Sure, im just overly excited for vega as i need a replacement for the R9 290 (brilliant card but its fan is starting to die) and I want to avoid nVidia as i run linux 70%+ of my time (nVidia haven't been playing nice with firmware for OSS drivers as of late)

Totally different video. The video that i posted is on foot and running around the forest with action ,however, AMD video is just a walking simulator with a empty map.
Chill out Doom, I have a feeling 2017 is going to be very stressful year for those hating on AMD.
Ok drop the AMD down an average of 4 FPS if that helps.... Still winning.
As an Nvidia owner, I want to see AMD smash Nvidia this round so it gets the market and performance improves moving on.

Yes AMD is going to stomp GTX 1080 after 7-9 months but going to getting beaten by GTX 1080 Ti and still behind GTX Titan X. AMD will never have a performance crown in this life.

Yeah when i watched the vid and he zoomed in on the counter showing 60fps, i thought yeah, would be getting 60 just running along a path on yer own, no action, was around 55secs in that you started to see lazer fire, which made the fps drop, and that only lasted a couple of seconds or so, before he ran off on his own again, and the vid ended.
