I like some of your sarcasm around here, however just to sober some of you, I would like to peak on the benchmarks eg 3D Mark Spy here in this forum....
You will see that 2 overclock Furys (not even X) are as fast as an overclocked TXP.

And given that someone can grab 2 used Nanos (FuryX) for ~£200 each these days.....yeah....

Any nightmares some might have tonight, I am not responsible. Just stating some facts :)

Considering the pro duo (dual fury-X) can't beat a single TXP in that bench I think your wrong :p

Flopper for AMD

Doom112 for Nvidia

Both are very consistent :D

Lol :D

The mouthy obnoxious ones always seem to be the most popular, for some reason.. I always avoid those.

Same, one of the reasons I've not watched some youtubers in a good while. Although quite Like linus's attitude myself.

Quite like gamersnexus, hardware unboxed and OC3D currently. Good quality, lengthy videos with the content I want to see.

OC3D (TTL) i haven't seen in a little while, i know before he used to be pretty decent but he would go off on a rant over some things, well he would make sure you knew about his annoyances of certain products.. which i suppose is a good thing, but sometimes it would drag on a bit.

Yeah he can drag on a bit. Suppose that's his way I guess. If I'm after a review it's probably one of the first I go to. Normally goes over EVERYTHING in all angles with all pros and cons. At least you know by the end of the video, you will probably know more about the item than the people who made it :D.

Thing with the AdoredTV videos, is that he's making massive assumptions from very little evidence. He might be right, but if he is, it's a lucky guess rather than actually basing his opinions on facts. We just have very little info on performance, and AdoredTV doesn't have anything more.

He's also quite biased regarding his opinions on things like "if Vega is only ten percent faster than 1080, then it's a failure", but not everyone will think like that if it's priced correctly. For instance, ten percent faster than an overclocked 1080 for around the £300 mark will go down nicely for a lot of people, even if it doesn't "beat" Nvidia.

His videos seem to be an opinion piece/editorial more than any real facts or any conclusions based on known facts. It's just the usual click-bait guessing for more page/tube views.

↑ I do agree with this vid. I know it's mostly speculation without evidence, but it feels spot on to me. I don't think VEGA is going to offer much more than the 1080, but it will do so at an attractive price. They can't touch Nvidia on resources, budget or marketing spend, and the mindshare comment is also a very valid point. I thoroughly expect VEGA to sell well and see AMD regain some % of market share, but Nvidia won't be challenged at the top tier... I'm convinced AMD are happy to slot in a distant second behind them. It would have been great if AMD had really come out swinging and blown Nvidia away, but that really was wishful thinking.

Never going to happen, not with the sterling in the current situation.
I'd be surprised if it didn't come out at over twice the price of the 480, around $500, which of course means around £550 to £600 for us.

I'd still consider a card with 1080 performance + 10% for the same price as a 1080, absolutely. Tied into a freesync monitor so that would be happy days for me!

Im looking forward to a new AMD build in 2017 .....

Agreed. I have a 4770K i7 and a Fury X that is a few years old now. Nothing I have seen from Intel especially excites me remotely enough to spend £600-£700 for a new CPU, MB and RAM package for zero game performance difference.
