Im sorry, but the HBM2 wait doesn't wash with me, not when they could have used GDDR5, and GDDR5X like Nvidia.
AMDs just wanting to get their Vega' bought, on the back of the newer memory, the HBM2, they aren't still on the ancient GDDR5 like Nvidia.
Well I see it differently I like the fact AMD is pushing for new memory tech..
And because off the difference between the two PCBs the design around Fury or Vega adding in GDDR5 would have made processing even slower you would have thought.
It's easier for Nvidia too just use GDDR5 but it's hardly pushing for new standards is it..
