If this was real, I don't see how they could charge any more than £400 for such a GPU. Even then it would end up too close to a 580/480 and Nvidia would still be free to continue running rampant at higher price points.

I was expecting the one Demo'd to sit around here, It was only doing as well as it was in Vulcan Doom so it makes sense that one of the Vega's sit's there but there is two, isn't there?
If it is big Vega it's not great news but I'll be getting an additional 35 to 40 % performance increase so I won't complain.
If it is big Vega they need to sack the promo people who think making easter eggs like the Poor Volta sign is good idea.

Not sure about anyone else but this is just taking too long for them to put anything in to the high end space. RX480 and rebadged RX580 are not high end products and crossfire is as unreliable as SLI so that's not an option either. Ryzen in the CPU space was a good success I really hope they can do it with VEGA. I am trying to hold off buying anything NVidia but as time is ticking by with no release date I may well spend my money elsewhere. They most know themselves it's really just taking too long and I expect that is down to HBM2 availability and pricing.
that's where the cutdown version of vega should be, even a bit slower, don't see how that would beak AMD fans, the full version around 15-20% faster.

What's with all the commotion? The TPU graph shows it sitting just a tad (105%) below the 1080, which we all know is "irresponsible amounts of power".
AMD are just doing the right thing and showing great restraint, by sticking to below-1080 performance and being a responsible corporate citizen!
NVidia on the other hand.... Titan Xp??? That's not irresponsible, it's crazy!

hmm if they are water cooling like the fury x (which i love) it probably means there isn't much room for overclocking them
