I gota say since water cooling my 290 with Corsair H60 & HG10 it is something I want to keep doing. Will after wait and see just how much extra the water cooled version is.

VEGA - Very Effective Gaming Appliance. Just stick that on the box, make sure performance sits between GTX 1080 and GTX 1080 Ti, price it around £450 max and do not delay.
Its gona be about £200 just for the box

Well, one of piece of good news it that you know AMD is going to be releasing a card soon when you see Doom112 pushing his Anti-AMD agenda.
He always shows up when a GPU launch is imminent!! Usually posting about how AMD stole his lunch money and ranting about AMD fanboys (see above)
Vega must be coming shortly!!

1070/80 performance is what was shown in the Doom demo all that time ago. I have to say a little disappointing after waiting so so long for it

not really that disappointing, that's exactly what I expected, something between 1070 and 1080. I am not sure why people expect huge jumps in performance with the kind of resources AMD invests in this. Whoever has a Freesync screen will still buy it and be happy, let's just hope AMD manage to release cards a bit quicker, seems an eternity before they manage to refresh their lines.

The only possible saving grace is it was running poorly optimised drivers. I still think Vega, on launch, will bench somewhere between a 1080 and a 1080ti.
