It could be the 6144 shader Vega I suppose, with the 4000 shader part shown a couple of months back (which will beat the 1080 now drivers have matured)

Fake as it gets. They've gone from the extremely average 970-competitor Polaris to THIS on the same node? Leave off, they ain't magicians!!
While I do think it is fake I don't see why such an improvement would not be possible, Isn't a 680 on the same node as a 980ti?
True. I'm hoping it's true and the 6144 shader part tbh. Don't mind if it has 8GB of HBM2 as my res isn't quite as punishing as proper 4k
I'm ready and waiting to 'auction' my Ti the day before release
Same here, I've been waiting so long I just want to grab the fastest Vega as soon as possible. It would be nice if the May release is true, I pray they don't stagger the release with the fastest core coming last to maximise sales.
so is it Confirmed
far faster than titan xp
out in may
£400
and
called Darth Vega
I will buy 2 of them then
Yeah. I enjoyed seeing my creation being used so wellhaha it was you that came up with the TiT edition i just borrowed it for my art project
I can see this Hype train derailing quite bad and causing a major train wreck.

Since when was a Titan XP nearly twice as fast as a 1080?
Last time I checked it was about ~30% faster on average.
It might have been more believable if they could at least get that part right
980Ti/1070 are pretty good for that already.I just want a card to power 1440p.
