Ah, so that's the one coming out after the 1080 competing Vega 10?
Vega 10 is meant to be around 12 Tflops and Vega 11 is 7
Still quite a gap though but AMD will have the edge on dx12 games.

That site doesn't seem to be very reliable. Is this just clickbait nonsense?
Fudzilla is saying October 2016 - I know, I know, I'm not even going to post the link to that.
But how can it be so ridiculously uncertain? It's either being released this month or in 8 months time. Although I suppose, technically, it could launch this year and yet there wouldn't be any actual cards until next year, maybe?

Hehe this month, ask your self this with what previous launch has there not been any leaks or subtle hints, teasing photos of an angled card or some other such nonsense, with only three weeks to go.
No it definitely will not be launching this month.
The way that AMD have teased and shown various bits of info about Polaris many times before it was released, If Vega is even half as good an improvement over Polaris then they will certainly be saying something, before release. They have an event scheduled for 14th-17th November supercomputing in Salt Lake city, maybe they will mentioned something there. I expect they will be launching the already talked about Radeon Pro WX series which is Polaris based, so unfortunately not likely to overshadow that with a Vega launch as well.
Of course I may be completely wrong and they may very well do something completely different to what they have done before and it arrive much sooner than most of us think.
+1 to this, you will know when Vega is soon to arrive as you will get weeks of subtle images and other such stuff coming out from even AMD themselves. Until then, play games and do other stuff

Yep paper launch. It could launch this month and easily not be buyable until January. Some people might say the 1080 although launched in May wasn't "buyable" for three months
Is anyone still waiting for Vega to drop? If so, I hope it is seriously quick and an overclockers dream
AMD seem to have a habit of missing prime release dates, I'd guess they will paper launch sometime in December and have some sort of reviews out and start shipping sometime in January, unless it's much later, like the start of summer. That would be disappointing but I'd rather they get it right.
Yep...I am waiting. Not going to speculate that it will be better than card A or Card B, just hoping that RTG will produce a competitive card at a reasonable price.
Then watch Nvidia drop all of their prices and release the 1080Ti which will be a whisker away from Titan X Pascal for about $899 (I am obviously guessing the price here) like they did with the 980Ti.
We will then have all the Titan Pascal owners desperately making up stuff to justify their purchases but down deep will be having a whinge and a moan after being shafted by the company they so dearly love.
Go on tell me I'm wrong
Oh Greg....if it is seriously quick and an 'Overclockers Dream' I will bet you will get one
Yep if nvidia did do freesync I think I would already have a 1080, I quite like the gigabyte like yours
I agree the main reason I want to get back to AMD isn't for the poorer drivers and no ShadowPlay but for the Freesync, which is the main reason I support AMD for the fact that they always try and support open features and not locking users into propriety stuff.
