it was during bumpgate - BFG got hit bad by it - got to love when chip company knownly floods the market with faulty chips.....before anyone says anything Nvidia was found guilty of doing this

All it does is add to the cost of the product if its not actually proving any real benefit, 3-4fps difference between FuryX and Fury.. yeah i'll take a Fury thanks, cheaper and easier to deal with plus no chance of pump whine or the AIO leaking everywhere.

I wish EVGA were an AMD partner in all honesty, Sapphire are decent but EVGA just seem to be really really good with their products and options like the upgrade trade in etc.

Seriously AMD could do with a partner like that. I just hope Vega does not come with a horrendous reference cooler, im happy to wait a bit longer for a decent cooled card, i will never buy another reference AMD card again after my 290.

People in the 1080 thread complaining about waiting like 85 or 95 days for their evga cards.
 
Wonder if those still waiting for 1080s will get some money back when the Ti releases, as they'll still be waiting for them by then, and their prices will have dropped :p

Nah they'll just excerise their option to Step Up to the 1080ti as they will probably get their 1080s a week or two before, then they will join the Evga 1080ti Pre-order queue lol :(

Didnt realise people were still waiting for cards this long after the release, AMD might be rubbish right now but atleast they got cards to market fairly soon.

Why is it taking EVGA so long? ive seen tons of other brands in stock?

Think part of the problem with the long wait on some cards is that nVidia is pushing the bleeding edge of clock speeds for 16nm as it is and some of the models they just aren't getting enough cores that are capable of the clocks.
 
I honestly can't get excited about dual GPU cards these days from anyone unless we have a revolution in rendering standards for mGPU.

Then it's a good thing these dual GPU cards are aimed at the professional market then......... Please read the article next time.

It's the same for this generation - Go look at the Radeon Pro Duo - priced at the professional market, so it's really of no concern to us, unless you plan on spending £1200 for a GPU.
 
^^ Who here really cares about the professional market? 99% of the interest on these forums will be if they are any good for gaming or not. I'm not shy of dropping £1200 on a GPU if I needed the performance and it was really worth that at the time.
