WCCF links as always are to be taken with a pinch of salt. However, if those specs are true along with prices it means they have 3 cards which includes the duo which are on-par or better than a 1080Ti for less money.

Not sure how a Duo can be on par with the 1080Ti? Unless of course thats in certain Xfire supported titles? I think there is a lot of misinformation here. A duo card is not and will not be a mainstream card. Expect that to come in at over a grand I suspect.

It guess it all comes down to the hardware and driver setups but we should known more at the end of the month.

My point is, you cant say a card is "comparable to other card X" if it relies on Xfire. Because it's not going to work in all titles.

I agree on the X-Fire point but also we don't know the finer details on the card. It could make things very interesting come the end of the month.

Why should they have a duo to battle the 1080Ti, when at 1600MHZ the Vega is more than capable of doing it with one chip?

I dont think they will. We both agree.
I don't know where there obsession for this dual chip card has come from but it is really leading us astray. A dual chip VGA is not going to be a big money maker for AMD nor will it be the main vega card, nor will it be what they push, nor do I think it will be available at launch. Lets discuss the single chip VGA that will be VEGA.

There will be a dual chip, but only later end of 2017, and it will be probably like the Pro Dua a half professional card.

i honestly thought a dual chip card would be obsolete now? id be seriously unimpressed if their 1080/1080ti competitor is a dual chip card.

AMD are irritating me now with this whole no info thing.

Better not be such a letdown....

Then they wonder why people still buy nVidia... you've not even got anything out to compete!!! and haven't for ages...

Well NVIDIA spent more on R&D for Volta than AMD has made in the last 3 years, so there is that little difference in money.
