Boom Ryzen mobile, +50% cpu and +40% GPU, super thin gaming laptops , LOL!
i think this will be the best product of AMD for this decade.

These APUs have the potential to dominate the laptop market now that the CPUs are up to scratch.

Intel have always struggled with graphics.

Aye, it's exciting, especially since Q3 for Mobile Ryzen with OEMs!

Ryzen is already very power efficient, and Polaris was for mobile as well. Vega at 40% better in Mobile for potentially same power is really cool.

The APU dominating the market has been on the cards for the best part of half a decade.
Thus far AMD haven't gotten any traction.

Hopefully that'll change, but we'll see.

Its clever for AMD to be able to franchise off their technology to such a large partner as Intel even while competing also. I think Intel going that direction has to be a positive sign for vega overall
Unfortunately this is what AMD is having to fight. When you see ridiculous comments like this you now see why NV out sell AMD even when AMD has the better card.
I dont care about bias to either side exactly but I'd confirm nvidia has that reputation of an easier experience. Its sometimes down to details not card related like Nvidia working with Valve, this knocks onto use in steam machines which means working Linux drivers giving a driver advantage in a few games. I imagine they collaborate with other companies for advances like that, both cards often are capable in theory.
I recently used a new version of desktop windows which excludes steam from working. Its possible Valve will heavily favour Nvidia to make sure they keep a strong alternative path open

No cheap GPU's in the future, They want top end GPU's with 40%+ margin. Nvidias margins must be absolutely huge as there dies are always so small!
Margins must cover R&D. 40% isnt extreme, Apple is some of the most extreme for margins and amazing in its profitability once the product is actually established and selling and so far thats all of them afaik

NYC markets close 9pm pretty much. 2.30pm is open

Mostly because of terrible Bulldozer power draw, and no real OEM partners. AMD getting proper partners from Dell, HP, and more is extremely important.

The last time AMD got close Intel went full on with their bribing and anti-competitive practices.

threadripper, that's the profit margins D.P is so hung up on.
also koduri is gaining some weight, and the beard beats the stache
