Edit, Sniper Elite 4, single Vega 4K 60FPS. Just like 5 seconds! Buggers!

Seen the FPS counter hit over 70 a few times - looked to me from that short clip to be an average of 65+ FPS which would put the performance in between the 1080 and Titan Xp according to http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/sniper_elite_4_pc_graphics_performance_benchmark_review,7.html

But then this was one game for around 20 seconds...

It's the massive 1TB highspeed storage on the card, along with the magic sauce software that makes it all work with the HBCC.

What I mean is that in theory they could use a lower capacity NVME and put the in the gaming cards. Not sure if it would help in games though.

Oh snap! Vega Instinct over 30% faster than P100 in Deep Learning. Sadly V100 is coming, so cost and availability before that is crucial for them.

They had 20 engineers for Tensor Flow work and Deeplearning LOL

What I mean is that in theory they could use a lower capacity NVME and put the in the gaming cards. Not sure if it would help in games though.

I doubt that'll happen any time soon, gaming doesn't simply loads a large video project and stream it. Game data changes a lot, and the NVMe is much slower than HBM2

I'm 35... and just started my Linux career. Made me wish I ws 20 and started my career with 15 years ahead of me.
