Its quite clear, he says FE available in June but for gamers you need to wait. "if gaming is your primary reason for buying a GPU, I’d suggest waiting just a little while longer for the lower-priced, gaming-optimized Radeon RX Vega graphics card."

FE available in June, Gaming you will have to wait longer. That might be July, but if the reason for delay is HBM2 then July might be quite optimistic.

Technically they will make H1 due to the Frontier launch, which is what I'm thinking they're aiming for ;)

Originally I'd say they were aiming for Q4 2016, as SK Hyjinx was promising Q3 2016 HBM2 2.0GBps mass production.

Then they removed 2.0Gbps, and focussed on 1.6Gbps for Q1 2017, and now they're showing Q2 2017 for those slower modules. :(

I still have my tinfoil hat on that the frontier edition is using 8GB HBM2 and 8GB GDDR5/X to get their claimed 16GB HBC.

Looking at their watercooled version the size doesn't make any sense still. If it was just HBM2, why is the card nearly >50% longer than the Fury X was. It looks like a normal GDDR5 full length PCB.

Has Vega not been available for a while but been sold to businesses? There was that online gaming company similar to onlive who have them already.

Except these two statements never appear close to each other not even in one paragraph. That's what i said before, saying like you do after each other it's quite a stretch when these two statements are a page apart.
Also while the Financial day never was intended to launch Vega we need to wait for the launch event.

It's real annoying to think we might be getting pushed back, I know that q2 was the expected date so technically it's the first delay but the fact they've been so quiet about it and haven't told us before now that the first releases would be non gaming cards is not on,
We missed out for the RX400 series and the 500 series so I think I'm going to buy something if I don't like the Computex info. After all my monitor is a 75 hz uw1440 model so a 1080 or 1080ti will do a good job of keeping my fps at or near it's 75 with a max limiter im place so I probably won't miss Freesync that much.

We already know gaming Vega isn't coming June, its after, Raja has already confirmed it, ive highlighted the relevant parts.

Today our vision for delivering the future of data science and advanced visualization materializes with the release of the Radeon™ Vega Frontier Edition graphics cards which will be shipping in late June.

When asked about being able to use them for gaming.

The answer is yes, absolutely. But because this graphics card is optimized for professional use cases (and priced accordingly), if gaming is your primary reason for buying a GPU, I’d suggest waiting just a little while longer for the lower-priced, gaming-optimized Radeon RX Vega graphics card. You’ll be glad you did.

Where is everyone getting this from? AMD only mentioned the professional/business cards at an investors conference, that doesn't mean that we won't see consumer/gaming cards launched at Computex and shipped before the end of June, as per the AMD roadmap that was published nearly a year ago. It's doesn't mean they are late, they have no stock, or that things haven't gone to plan. It means the manufacturing space, assembly line time, shipping schedules, etc were booked in advance and are being used when they were scheduled to be available. Companies and facilities all over the world do not sit around idle on the off-chance that someone manages to get something done a month quicker than scheduled.

All this doom and gloom seems to come from people who haven't even bothered to read any kind of summary of what was said at the investors conference, or what it means.

When asked about being able to use them for gaming.

Yeah thats what i was talking about before...one is at the beginning of the article, the other is at the very end...probably no connection, and he referred that we need to wait for the launch was slated to end of May early Jun.
