Except the install base of Google's Android is probably about four times more than Apple's iOS devices globally.

Yes, and how many more times are Intel IGPUs outnumbering everything else?

I'm obviously talking about the premium ranges.

Plus, what are profit margins for £100 Alex?

I can't remember where but I've seen pretty much exactly those same numbers for a GTX1070 versus RX480 CF test somewhere.

Yea, but this is saying Vega which would have nothing to do with dual polaris. Nothing interesting happening at the moment so these sites need to make something up by using educated guesses. lol.

:D

FFS, ******* hats are back

Just as I posted they changed. First it was the :D, then a few seconds later I refreshed and it was :p

At least they waited until December. Some people started putting Christmas celebrations up a few weeks ago. lol.

Yes, and how many baked beans do Heinz sell?
(I'm not sure why we are now bringing in other companies as well)

No, you weren't. You where talking about 'Apple vs Google, with AMD being Google.', no obvious mention - or even allusion to - 'premium ranges'. In fact the start of the sentence straight after that is ' Great value'.

Who's Alex and what does this question even mean?

Is there any chance AMD 490 will top Nvidia 1080 or upcoming 1080Ti?

If by 490 you mean big Vega, then yes it certainly should. It's just a case of how much it'll be, and whether they have been successful in removing the bottlenecks in their 4096 core design.

On paper it has the potential to beat everything Nvidia currently has.

Will it though...? We'll know hopefully soon.
