I only attempted the pencil mod on the ati 8500le to bring it up to full fat specs, multimeter and a pencil

After reading 13900k reviews, decided to give up 5% game performance now and go with a longer life AM5 platform with a 7950x, possibly just run one CCD and upgrade to Zen 4 x3D in Q1. 13900K may only be gaming king for 3 months.

And I'll still have a system for Zen 5.

Bring on the zen 4 price cuts! The 13700kf is a faster 12900kf for £120 less too. At least that's a step in the right direction.

should find out more info on x3d on 5 Jan 2022 – 7 Jan 2022 hope the release isnt long , want to go with B650e board with 3d chip hopefully in that time board prices drop as well
