Yep most are aware of that.It likely will not be any faster at higher detail and resolutions (1440p and above) where the CPU is largely removed as the limitation.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Aye but they never have the quoted prices that posters quote on here
I don't think they expected many people to buy them.
This was more a case of maintaining the perceived value of Zen 2 so that Zen 3 doesn't look massively more expensive vs. Zen 2 when it comes out 20% more expensive than non-refresh Ryzen 3000 parts are going for now.
AMD will sell some of these, but that's the real value of these XT models.
I hope I can get a 4700x for less than the 3800xt is going for otherwise I might end up staying put. £550 plus for a CPU and motherboard is not the good deal I was hoping for
For £110 it makes sense. Was going to go for the 3300x as well. As you said, great performance for gaming, only a couple of percentage points away from higher core CPUs. I managed to get the 3600 for £148 (inc. shipping) which compared to £130 (inc shipping) for the 3300x made me pull the trigger on the 3600.Atfer seeing all of the reviews on the 3300X, I have decided to get one of these instead of a 3600 to tide me over until Zen3. The gaming performance is phenomenal for the money (£110 where I live)! https://www.overclockers.co.uk/amd-...hz-socket-am4-processor-retail-cp-3c0-am.html
Yeah, just imagine what kind of budget gaming builds we can recommend to people later this year when the new gen GPU's are released. The performance per £ for a budget build will be very strong. For £110 it makes sense. Was going to go for the 3300x as well. You will literally be throwing money away that could instead be better spent on a more powerful Zen3 or GPU.Still debating upgrading my 2600X to a 3600XT, the itch is there but my sensible side says I wont notice any difference in gaming at 1440P with a Vega 56 and just keep my money until the 4000 series hits and put the money toward RDNA2. Its a constant argument in my mind.

I mean spending money upgrading your 2600x to a 3xxx anything (although XT is the worst) before the new CPU's and CPU's hit later in the year would be a waste, as that is where the money can be better spent. If your 2600x does the job fine then just hold on to it and wait a few months. You mean 4000 series or 3800XT?
