AMD Zen 2 (Refresh) 3900XT/3800XT/3600XT

I'm thinking of moving my current 3600X out of my main PC and into a second PC build that I'm currently building.
This would allow me to consider an upgrade to a 3700X or 3800X.
Any suggestions on what is best or should I wait for the next AMD CPU's to be released?

Your question is extremely vague and you don't even say what you use it for or your budget which doesn't realy help anyone to give any advice... have you done some research of your own into the various CPU options?

Thanks for your response Richdog.
All my research into the differences between 3600X vs 3700X and above point to there being not that much of an increase in FPS when gaming for things like DCS World and ARMA 3.
I know the new CPU's are yet to be released so I was hoping for what others would consider their "gut instinct" at the moment as there is not that much else to go on.
I don't really feel that I do need an upgrade, but the price of a 3300X that I was planning to put in the second PC has just made me consider other options such as cascading my current CPU into the second PC.
As to budget, I would rather spend £250/£300 on a 3700X/3800X than £150 on an overpriced 3300X.

The 3300x is not £150... shop around.

3800XT isn't exactly replacing the 3700X, so not sure what people are expecting.

The 3600XT, 3800XT and 3900XT I predict will drop down to the non-T prices after a month I predict.

Also they better make sure they come with Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. That is easily a £30 game, if not more.

Also the 3300X RRP is £120. Everyone pricing above that is just creaming extra money because they have stock.

edit: Just seen HZD offer finishes on the 30th.

Which as you know they're perfectly entitled to do, just as people are perfectly entitled not to purchase them :). Such is the beauty of the free market.

Things will sort themselves out eventually.

Did make a separte thread but just in case anyone in here may know

My friend is looking at buying one of these not to overclocked to run stock .

Whats best to cool i was looking at either a NH-D15 DUAL RADIATOR QUIET CPU COOLER WITH TWO NH-A15 FANS or a LIQTECH II 240 RGB CPU WATER COOLER - 240MM ( runa 3 fans one on my threadripper )

Which would be best to run much difference in them ?

Possiblecase would be something like a ENTHOO PRO GLASS MIDI TOWER CASE - BLACK

Thank you

Stock? Neither. The former is better though, I guess PBO boost would be pretty good with it. All core OC would be attainable too.

Yeah he just needs the cores to be fair so running stock speeds is fine no need to overclock it . I assume they don't come with there own fans do they ?

Thanks for your reply

Oh do they i didn't think they did must have misread it , are the temps ok with the stock cooler ?

Thanks
Never used it. My board has a monoblock. Be careful not to buy the OEM version, they have no cooler. But you can buy your own with the savings I guess, probably be a better cooler going that route.
