RIP the dream :/yes 300 3700x and 90 3800x. They received the 300 3700x and then another shipment of 100 which i believe was due Friday but nothing in terms of 3800x.

that sounds like something a dodgy ebay thread would say - 6 cores at 3.8gz = 22.8ghz!I can have 2 of the 3600 which is 12 cores 24threads

Thanks for info sent it overI have 2 packs of CMW32GX4M2C3466C16 (i.e. 4x 16GB 3466Mhz C16 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro) paired with a Gigabyte x570 Master and a 3900x.
I must admit, getting them to work at decent speeds has been the most difficult part of the build by a significant amount. Although they're rated for 3466, I can't get the system to boot at anything above 3000Mhz with all 4 DIMMs filled. I may be able to push this slightly further, or a BIOS update might help a bit, but having read a few other forums it seems that this is a fairly common as they are Dual Rank to reach 16GB capacity per stick.
I've seen this described as the "worst possible case", and although 3000Mhz seems like it might be as fast as it'll go, 64GB does seem to work fine. I'll spend a bit of time trying to tighten up the timings, which might offer some improvements, but the key take away seems to be that you need to decide between capacity and speed when it comes to RAM configurations.
There was like 6 in the packet, gone in one go.Enjoy the Haribo!

Oh and I'm gutted Cities Skylines appear to be running slower on my 3700x than my 1600x, I can't justify getting another 16gb (100+ worth of ram) just for a single game though.
Some people like ME use Zen's for rendering.... HAve You ever had rendering crash 14 hours in a project ?? I have and had to start over so no gaming for whole weekend !!!!People still use Prime 95? Zomg is your PC 8 hours prime stable? If not it's not stable zomgs lolz etc. It's an unnecessarily aggressive test that is never replicated with gaming or normal home usage.
3600 was consistently 10% behind the 3900X at under half the price. Definitely put a smile on my face as I'll be going the 3600 5700XT route.Yeah that has just made me go from a 3900X initailly to a 3700X and now going to cancel that and get the 3600.
I can have 2 of the 3600 which is 12 cores 24threads for a little over the price of a 3700X and very little gain in gaming performance.
Are you serious?Oh and I'm gutted Cities Skylines appear to be running slower on my 3700x than my 1600x, I can't justify getting another 16gb (100+ worth of ram) just for a single game though.
Which is no where near as intensive as a Prime torture. Some people like ME use Zen's for rendering.... HAve You ever had rendering crash 14 hours in a project ?? I have and had to start over so no gaming for whole weekend !!!!
Ahhhhh, my cmd+R attacks can move to target DPD instead of OCUK now. That's a 3700X + Mugen 5 & some 8pack ram: the final pieces of the puzzle!Order shipped or Ready to collect
Deffo They are doing great job Had 2070super shipped email at 18.26 last night and its here.Warehouse will do there best.
even harder sometimes !!! If it does not pass IBT Very High x10 is not stable for my uses. I have Moved to Y Cruncher from prime tho.Which is no where near as intensive as a Prime torture.
Have a look at this video, best one I've seen so far.
May have slowed the CPU down though using a 5700 but it's a good video none the less.
Yeah absolute no brainer bud.3600 was consistently 10% behind the 3900X at under half the price. Definitely put a smile on my face as I'll be going the 3600 5700XT route.
