Looks like some of these chips are hitting power limiters, until thats resolved the overclocking and some actual stock benches will be lower.
Strong first showing though.

This is why i do 4.2Ghz all core at 1.365v.. PBO i was seeing up to, and sometimes over 1.5v on my 2700Xwhat did I say about PBO killing processors with volts ??
Taichi price is absurd, ordered CPU and Mobo elsewhere, shame on you OCUK
In their video the 9900k still wins in pretty much all the games they tested. Unless a few quid matters not sure why you would get the 3900x over a 9900k for gaming. All rounder though it’s nice.
TaiChi is RRP here. The other place(s) are offering a chunky discount.
Where? The only other place I see the Taichi has it for pre-orderOrdered x570 Taichi and 3800x elsewhere, should get them tuesday gives me enough time to do some benchies on my current rig to compare, should be a decent uprade.
Ryzen 5 3600 review

Too hot, very poor overclock, 1.45V, used more power than 8C/16T 2700. Not very impressed.
That's the price to be paid for architecture innovation I'm afraid. Same happened with X99 and Ryzen 1, but it should improve over the next month or two.So it is safe to say the BIOS is a piece of **** at the moment?
So, 7-3700X is on par with i9-9900K.
The power consumption is bad considering that 7nm is supposed to lower it, not to increase it..

Will the CPU increase in performance over the next few months? I'm wondering if I should go 2700x and another 16gb ram so I have 8 core 32gb setup especially for cities skylines. Would I come to regret it would I see cyberpunk running much better with 3700x? Or 2700x extra 16gb ram and in future new GPU?
