Indeed, but here we are with rushed product not performing as it should, is it because AMD were late with giving the vendors the chips/info or have board vendors just been sat ****ing it off for months?

So far these chips seem like very good value given they're being reviewed on sub optimal drivers, bios etc. They're competitive despite this and the 3600 is silly value. I'm pleased there's also affordable x570 boards that look to be more than good enough for the 8 cores as well. The numbers we are seeing are essentially the chips at their worst, and they're still pretty good.

Why are AMD so bad at this, it’s a PR disaster not to have final product being reviewed, especially when performance is affected. From the jaws of victory.

They have a very different attitude to Intel, AMD are very relaxed, far too relaxed about what reviewers do with their chips, where as Intel write their reviews for them to make sure they are shown in the best possible light.

AMD need to be more proactive.

I also ordered the 3800x. I cant see it coming tomorrow tbh. They already had the shipment from AMD for 3900x, surely if they were coming in they would arrive in the same shipment?

Worst idea ever to release a product on a Sunday. And not even be able to get stock for the Monday!

I honestly thought retailers would have had stock in advance of the launch at least by 2-3 days!
