Why are the VRMs important when all of the CPUs we've seen have Zero overclocking headroom? I'd love to see the 4.7 boost clocks in a review but it seemsTiny Tom said something along the lines of:
For anything 3700x and below you are OK with a x470 and below board. For anything 3900x you will want to get a x570 mobo for the vrms etc...
Your mileage may vary.
overbuilt VRMs are just that....overbuilt. The 3600 gets pretty toasty at 4.2ghz so the 3900 is going to be cooking eggs at stock before the VRM's are warming the toast.
Unless I missed breakfast or something else?
