This dude got 40498 in R23 on a 7950X, RAM is 4800 MT/s and the temps were 87c on an AIO. On an ASRock Taichi board as well!

When are we getting some Ryzen 7700X reviews?
Official or whatever.
Also, anyone else looking to upgrade to a 7700X?
I was going to start a new thread but I figured this may be the place to post.
I'm looking at building a beefy rig and I'm thinking of going AMD this time because of the support going forward. Obviously a new chip could mean a lot of issues being an early adaptor, is this normally the case with AMD? How hard are AMD to setup? I've heard multiple people mention about needing to turn SMT off(is that the right thing?) and RAM being harder to setup, is that the case?
Thanks
No doubt. There's never a real shortage of CPUs, though the top end model may be more scarce (7950x) for the first month or so, due to yield. So if you wanted the 7950x then on launch day you'll likely have to pay more than what its intended to sell for. And yes EXPO kits will be available. 7700X & 7600X will be plentiful for sure, most likely 7900X as well.@Gibbo Sorry if it’s been asked already, but I couldn’t see any info. Will there be stock of Ryzen 7000 on launch day? (27th)… it’s only 5 days away and yet I’ve seen nothing listed anywhere. Also will EXPO memory kits be available? Thanks
Don't really agree with this statement, with chiplet design its entirely up to AMD what processors are to be made.though the top end model may be more scarce (7950x) for the first month or so, due to yield.
No need to agree, just go back and look at 5950X launch availability.Don't really agree with this statement, with chiplet design its entirely up to AMD what processors are to be made.

No ####It's obviously not stock.
If a stock 5950X scores around 26,000 that's 56% higher performance.
Close to a power unlimited 13900K by the look of things. It's obviously not stock.
