They might just put the corresponding CPU's in at the same Intel prices.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
or they might not as fast as intel cpus and the whole pricing stays as it already is
speculation,speculation,speculation.

Did she actually say that though?
It's almost like people forget the FX95's launch price.
And the FX8150 launched at i7 price while being well and truly inferior.
I place no expectations on AMD's ability to price incorrectly at launch.
consumer i7 prices are a bit different to HEDT prices.
Highly doubtful, they need market-share. Putting your first new CPU in years up at 1k is a sure way to fail.
These are all consumer products though.
The FX8150 and FX95 were consumer desktop products.
OTOH, AMD does not want a price war. Why would they? Low on cash, high on debt.
As they showed with the HD7xxx series, when they have a good product, they aren't afraid to price themselves higher than the competition, let alone equal...!
coffee lake - the 6 core will be 14nm and high end igpu
intel are still having issues with 10nm , as cannonlake will be a2 or 4 core with low end igpu
QUALCOMM are shipping 10nm snapdragon 835 on Samsung finfet process
It wasn't actually that `bad` of a cpu - although getting it to run @5ghz on all cores was an entertaining proposition.....
the 8350 is ofc the best of the AM3 bunch (but you can now get a 9590 for similar money)
Are Intel's and Samsung processes comparable? I thought Intel's naming was more closely aligned to reality than the other fabs. The other fabs can have a "10nm" process and actually it's closer to 20nm... (From what I've read; I'm no expert, tho.)
