Early AM4 boards will be filled with APUs (Careezo and whatnot, not Zen).
But yes I imagine high-volume server customers will be trialing Zen around that time.
AMD have revealed their new Wraith CPU Stock Cooler, a CPU heatsink which is both cooler and quieter than AMD's current stock CPU cooler designs.
This cooler is bigger than their previous design and features a larger fan, which runs at a much lower speed and provides a higher static pressure in order to keep this heatsink much cooler than it's older generation counterpart.
This heatsink is expected to be bundles with high end CPUs and APUs from AMD's Bristol Ridge and Zen ranges of CPUs, giving AMD users a much better stock cooler experience before they more to larger aftermarket coolers for overclocking.
For Zen and Bristol Ridge.. Hopefully this means Zen isn't to far off.

As a bencher jumper, i take it you will be looking forward to amd's next chip. We have been spoiled lately by intel, but i gotta admit their recent chips from c2d/q onwards hhavent really offered big gains in performance for regular users. Im guilty of buying everything since X58, not a competitive bencher, but boughht new chips just to try them out. Pretty expensive way of relieving boredom lol.Tbh with such a big stock cooler they could get away with even higher tdp chips
Indeed I am. I have sold my cvfz and fx8320 already. I have to admit I don't have much hope for decent performance compared to Intel, but at least a new platform will be nice to mess around with and tweak. Tbh with skylake bclk being unlocked that has made me very happy as I was about to die of bordem with the multipler bumping on Intel cpus for the last 4 generations .As a bencher jumper, i take it you will be looking forward to amd's next chip. Single socket for the whole range of APU / CPU makes sense. Much better way of doing it, as buyers can jump onto at different levels and upgrade to higher end CPU only or vice versa.
Don't want to be overly positive but AMD looks like it has a great hand to play this year, with Zen, Polaris and the console wins. Things are looking up.

Double edged sword IMO. All boards released have to have the guts for the very highest end chip to be released else we will see noobies blowing stuff up like with 125/140W AM3/+ chips on bargain basement MATX boards...
I imagine with the die shrink that the max Zen will require will be way, way lower than that, but still
Ugh, now is not the time to be releasing videos like that.
Sing when you're winning, not on your last leg with one hail mary play left that won't even be made for a year still.
To be fair just because AMD are saying it'll be available late '16 doesn't mean that it actually will be, who really knows when it taped out if it all yet? it's all just speculation at this point.
