Just hope these will overclock well. 4.5 Ghz would be perfect for a 1700x.
These leaks are really impressive, is the NDA lifted next week? If so when do Intel drop there prices?
It's been so long it's quite weird to see AMD as a viable alternative to Intel. A nice kind of weird though
28th supposedly.
That's what I have read, with a release for sale from March 2nd.
We need one of them Gibbo 's
Doubt Intel will have to react as we'll see retailers in Europe pricing the 1800x at £1000 if it turns out to be faster than the 5960x.28th supposedly.
Can't be too long now before intel have to do something. Doubt they will drop to ryzen prices though due to their greed.
Indeed, they have been extorting people for so long that even if they manage to match AMD in future I won't care, they will have to beat them on price performance to win my custom back. Can't be too long now before intel have to do something. Their greed is likely to put a lot off future intel cpu's.
well if they are faster than intel counterparts in some tiers will be interesting to see if gouging is going to take place.we seeing the usa prices now.wonder what uk prices will be
As if millions of shareholders cried out in terror.I sense a massive disturbance in Intel's force.

Clockspeed was about the only thing they didn't push for with Failburst lol. They raised the FSB, the cache, added HT, finally followed AMD in adopting DDR, then gave up and relaunched a modified Pentium 3 as Core XDI can see a return to the Pentium 4 vs A64 days coming. Intel pushing for clockspeed to compete with AMD.

You mean 1:1 according to the current Intel pricing. So £1050 for the 1800x, £430 for the R5 1600x, and £350 for the R5 1300x.At least 1:1 plus VAT and import
