Actually regarding the UK is not true if you buy from OCUK. If correct, they have done an agreement with ASUS and they handle the RMA for 2 or 3 years.
If anyone from OCUK is around here, could confirm please?

In will say with UK reviews, guys had very very very little time . can blame that on AMD getting chips to them after US :/
Have a feeling stuff will be released but maybe will be touched on a few days later . only so much you can do in a time frame to get a story out .
And I did say in January RX would be out for April

yeah they do. It's like 48 hour turn around as well. Is one of the reasons that pushed me toward asus
Darn, forgot about that. Ordered Asus from somewhere else...

So apparently AMD have issued an update which significantly affects results, could it be that they have deliberately held it back in an attempt to trick Intel. All the leaks have resulted in performance that is just about on par with Intel, but could it be that these recent revelations actually exceed it by a decent margin?

Well, I hope not, as Asus aren't likely to issue that bios update in time for me installing tomorrow (that's me being optimistic it's coming tomorrow)
I think we're back to the revision B mobos tbh. Abit 2.0... I remember that bit but can't actually remember what board or chipset that was
Abit NF7-S v2 - still have one with an Athlon XP 1700+
I can but hope that the R7 1700 is as good an overclocker.

Any type of update this far down the line would be badly (I use the term loosely) reflected in reviews, you'd probably have to wait further down the line for proper updated results.
I see all this "will it wont it" be great chat... I am just hyped because its the first time in over 15 years i have purchased computer gear such as this on day one with no clue, what i am doing or if it is good or not

+1. Never ordered anything like this blindly I don't think. Also hitting middle age... Correlation?
Plus it coincided nicely with a long weekend for me - probably wouldn't have bothered otherwise. I better get this stuff tomorrow :/

The fact that OcUK's early CPU+Mobo bundles included ASUS Crosshair/Prime mobos implies they would have decent numbers of them at launch... right?
Who knows... hopefully Gibbo will give us a status update today?
There seems to be plenty of rumours that stock isn't coming in for a lot of boards until next week.
