in the interview linked above with lisa su they mentioned the difference in pcie lanes between amd and intel, how important is this, how will it effect the average user ie me

If you ordered the cpu from the same site i order my motherboard from , then i have a horrible feeling they found out they could overclock them a bit and started doing the overclocked bundles from stock they may have already allocated. I also ordered as soon as the cpu and motherboards went up. Then about a few hours later they were selling the overclocked bundles :(

Nope. The other system will have an engineering sample inside it, either a 1700 or a 1700x.

I want the best of the best for my personal system, so it's gotta be a 1800x, 3600Mhz Cl16 DDR4 and a Crosshair VI hero. Got 2x Pro Duo's to go inside it remember. :)
 
I had an email from another big retailer that likes books and it looks like my 1800x and Asus VI hero order are delayed. Rip.

Time to start furiously looking for something to order while I'm at work.
 
Apparently the rain forest peeps have no stock 2 to 3 days delay ..I wish i bought all from here ...but i had £200 Rain credits :(

Thing that bugs me i ordered as soon as they went live on the 22nd so to me it looks like they never got stock ....
