However did anyone realised that the games were smoother on the 1700 compared to the 7700K? And it looks isn't only me who realised that, there is a whole discussion under the video about this.
Very impressive. Check out Witcher, the 1700 CPU1 is getting bashed 90%+ whilst 7700K split across more cores, yet the 1700 was keeping up.
GTA the 7700k 80-90% usages on all cores, 1700 much much lower. That game really does use moarrrr coressss.
I find that video very impressive considering it AMD Ryzen 1700 (3.9GHz) versus the i7 7700K (5GHz). With a 1.1Ghz speed advantage, the FPS gap was minimal.
I am sold!
Only thing i am worried about at the min is that at some point i want 64GB ram, my ryzen will have 2x16GB to start with, will hero 6 handle 4x16GB CL15@3000mhz?No, I know but nearly everyone wants a real workhorse so you can throw everything at it so it wont bog down. I can't blame them. Smooth performance everywhere.

I thought the same also......is it me or does the 7700k vid look more jittery than the 1700?

No is not you. And if you see the full article the guy has posted, you will see that the 7700K true has higher max, but minimum and over time average fps, is much better on the 1700.is it me or does the 7700K vid look more jittery than the 1700?
5364Mhz haRyzen to the occasion. New Cinebench world record on multi thread. http://hwbot.org/submission/3473862_elmor_cinebench___r15_ryzen_7_1800x_2454_cb

Because the 7700K bounces all over the place.
Hahahah.....Update your quote, always got room for toilet humour.![]()
Only 5.4GHz on LN2?!![]()
Only 5.4GHz on LN2?!
I had a 2500K which would do that on air lol.![]()
Well according to the official qualified vendors list for the board on GB's site they have validated that the CMK32GX4M2B3200C16 kit works in the board and that XMP works, I would assume it to be the case if they are listing it for compatibility :S

Thats good to hear.....Currently no. But with future cpu microcode or memory tables provided by amd and integrated by Asus probably yes. Amd are working on memory related issues now.
