Wow that's a lot of mods! I think the only three I'm running in ATS are the "realistic headlight range", "realistic air brakes sounds" and "Eaton Fuller Super 13/18 transmissions", and that last one is just so I get the proper gear indication "2L/2H etc.

Played around with some of those but this is horrible. It doesn't seem very different from the stock lighting - where the dipped headlights aren't very bright and the main beam is like turning on the sun. The one I listed seems much more like real headlights.

How does this compare to Euro truck simulator (other than location obviously)?

I know it's basically the same thing but it just feels more polished. It's hard to explain but it seems nicer.

Mrs. Feek came into my shack yesterday while I was driving and after she'd watched me for a while, she started talking to me. I paused the game and turned to her. She asked me what I was doing - I pointed at the screen and said I'm driving across America in a big truck.
She smiled. She'd heard me talking. Apparently I'd just said "yellow car" out loud. I hadn't even realised it but I was playing Yellow Car at the same time!

Mods from this site, but beware the downlaod links are from ad heavy sites.. Malware pref..
Trailer, trucks, maps, ai traffic.. etc.. There are too many to list, just pick which you think you want and try them out. many mods are version related, so don't always work across game versions.

It's been nearly a year since anyone posted in here - Is anybody still driving this? I just fired it up for the first time in a while, bought all the new DLC (for this and ETS2), updated the mods and headed off towards Oregon.
@HR4 You linked him ets2.lt which is for Euro Truck. atsmods.lt is the ATS one. Although I'd recommend Steam Workshop or the SCS Forums or Promods.net.
I'm driving but not as much. Just need to go through my mods and update them, I think Harven has updated his Freightliner FLB for both ATS and ETS2 if you have driven that, currently driving across up to Oregon.

I just bought the Oregon DLC yesterday, haven't had a chance to boot it up and drive yet though.

Once 80m goes dead later, I'll be taking another drive around. I got as far as Bend for a delivery yesterday and the map looks like there could be some nice twisty roads.
