** AN INCREDIBLE SSD DEAL: 128GB SUB £40 !! **

This. Although no blutac required for my use :)

Do you need to register them with Sandisk as so far I can't...

Agree - in regards to the registration.

I rang them and spoke to a support rep who tried to register them manually. I then checked my email to note that they have since mailed and informed me that they could not do that. They checked both the serial numbers and confirmed that they hadn't been registered previously. The issue has been passed on to their support team to check out their system etc and will email me back when whey have been able to add them to my account for warranty purposes.

Mine arrived yesterday...will hopefully have it sorted over the weekend.

Incidentally...what's my best option for installing win7.
I already have a 120GB partition on my mech HDD so was going to clone but to be honest, I was gonna do a fresh install of windows anyway as I changed from A10 5800K to I5 2550K and still using my old w7 install..don't really have any issues but thought it probably worthwhile.
If I unplug my mech HDD and just commence install onto new SSD what happens when I plug old HDD back in as I would effectively then have 2 C: drives ?
Would windows then reassign a new drive letter to the old C partition on the mech HDD or ?

I always install fresh copies from a USB drive as it's much faster than a DVD.
After reconnecting the HDD, as long as you have the boot sequence correct, you should boot into the new install and Windows will assign new drive letters for the HDD partitions.

Just fitted one of mine in my wife's laptop. From what I've found an SSD drive is one of the best ways to speed up and older laptop, which has a mechanical drive. Being the size this SSD is it has allowed all of our photos to be copied across after cloning from the old drive.

Anyone able to interpret the latest reply from Sandisk?
