I built a N64 SNAC adapter for my MiSTer last night and it's a complete game changer! I can actually play goldeneye properly now

Can't beat a bit of Goldeneye. I remember playing it at school in an after hours class, 2v2 death match back then on a console blew me away!

I'm waiting for the controller, can't wait to see the machine though. I bet it's really good. I'd get one but i game solely on CRT.

I managed to get one, I think it will be strange playing N64 games on a 55" OLED but I am looking forward to it :)

Can vouch for this with the RetroTINK 4K. It helps being able to remove certain settings causing blur and having a clean digital signal from the MiSTer.

Probably on par with the MiSTer and RT. I'd imagine there will be little difference. One thing I am expecting is a few small issues with some games (we've seen it before with Analogue products and MiSTer development, eventually get ironed out). Hopefully the 3D includes a direct video mode.

No doubt Mike will make profiles to support the 3D, I know he has ordered one.

Edit: When mine comes, I can perhaps do some comparisons slow time. No doubt we will see something from YouTubers before then though :).

I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the console. It’s been a while since I’ve played any N64.
 
Funny that their 8BitDo controllers were shown to be availble from July 2025 a long time ago but Analogue only tell us now about the delay. Coincidence. Maybe, but this company annoys the hell out of me.

Was probably always a good indication it had been delayed. Their comms has always been rubbish.

This, I haven't known any of their products to be a complete let down. Not without their faults, as I have heard stories about the NES console they did and Pocket consoles having issues (my launch Pocket has been fine). But overall the Super NT, Mega MG and Pocket I own have been great.
