and some thought i was wrong about the new xbox

There was a topic about this a few weeks ago. Everything Xbox World claims to know about the new Xbox is purely guess work.

My reaction too I am afraid.
Making silly claims like this just makes me think that the whole webpage is full of guesses and exagerations. If the new Xbox is exactly as the link claims then it will probably cost upwards of £750.

i read a lot of rubbish.. but that is about the worst i can remember.. about anything!

'real' surround? and how do you achieve that? soundthat can come from anywhere at once?
 
The funny thing is people will still believe that, especially console fans.

They'll use it in their console vs PC arguments

My biggest issue with it is that it's quite an absolute statement. There's a massive range of performance when it comes to "quad core" chips.

But the way they say "more powerful than any gaming PC" just bizarre. They are of course using some cut off point for what "any" means, which is probably entry level.

It just confuses me why they have to even say anything like that, everyone who knows anything about technology knows it's not possible.

Like as if they could stuff a CPU in there with the power of a Sandy Bridge E chip.

Sandybridge E is more likely to use more power by itself without a GPU than a "next gen" console will use for the whole system.

They're still wrong though regardless of whether they think they can form an argument.

The best way is to just show people things running side by side, if they can't or won't see a difference, that's their issue.

You only have to read the first four lines to realise you're still probably going to be wrong.

Also, while I'm not a fan of Apple products, I can see why companies would want to copy some of it's business practises although I don't think anyone is stupid enough to follow their awful naming system. Is it the Xbox 3rd Gen 8th Generation games console?
 
That bit about cpu is lol worthy! It will be good but a claim like that just screams bs from an idiot that knows very little about hardware.
 
what a lot just don't seem to realize is it will come out on the date they and i said november next year.

it will be more powerful than people on here expect . simple reason is it has to be as it has to run games for at least 5-7 years !

so it will be as powerful as they say and i said. cant wait for it to come out and people are like damn he was right :D

a lot dont want it to be that powerful as one they have mega expensive pcs in comparison or think how the hell can they manufacture a console for a low enough price.

they will lose on the console for first few years while producing them they always do. xbox 360 was exactly the same. role on november next year !!
