Andor (Star Wars)

Last episode about as interesting as a trip to Aldi. And while I know it had to be filmed somewhere and good for the UK film industry, can't get beyond the fact that Scotland looks like, well Scotland, and that the Imperial base that is being sized up for the climax is Ben Cruachan Dam. I even said to my missus, oh look it's a low flying Tie Fighter over the West Highlands... Surprised they haven't got the Glenfinnan Viaduct in there yet.
You're probably one of 100 starwars fans in the world that even know that place.
Bit of a you problem:p

So I am really late into these series and just started Mando and enjoying it. I dont really care about Starwars or anything just scifi. Is it worth watching the other ones?

Is it just messing with Starwars lore that makes this bad or is it just bad?

They don't mess with lore much, they are just varying levels of trash. Mando is good fun and generally decent most of the time. The others vary wildly from episode to episode. Andor has been 90% filler so far. Boba was drivel in parts but had it's moment. Obi Wan had a few epic bits and loads of trash.

Mando has some good episodes, but overall fell short for me. Boba is a mess, and not just because it squanders an iconic character and elbows the main character aside to introduce Mando at the climax. I thought Obi Wan was okay, watchable space opera stuff.

I really like Andor, its depiction of the gritty underbelly of the Rebellion is very much in the vein of the best extended universe stuff. But it's slow and brooding so if that's not your bag you won't like it.

Thanks Mr Im sure I will give it a go anyway. Will try She Hulk first that sounds right up my street.

Cast is pretty fantastic and the writing and dialogue is good.

This isn't your typical Disney show.

Was that a Sith and Jedi holocron in his shop on the shelf ?

I have to say, I am really enjoying this. The dialogue and the cast are great.

Sure it doesn’t have the constant villain of the week skirmishes that Mando has but as the above person said, this is a very different show and much more story driven.

Fully exceeding expectations.
