Andor (Star Wars)

Yeah I’m out. Bored af watching the last episode. Andor himself is just dull and I’ve never warmed to him. Looks constipated everytime he’s on screen.

Tales of the Jedi - now that was enjoyable! I’ve always been confused by the animated stuff as there is too much so I never knew where to begin.

May as well start from clone wars

It does get a bit tedious how much of the time he stands there looking perplexed.

Interesting reveal at the end regarding the prison in that you never get let out, just shipped round to some other level. Though i don't really understand how that ever works? Surely the prisoners just tell the other inmates that constantly after a point and they'd soon learn nobody escapes?

Apparently this has the worst viewing figures for a Star Wars TV series but will still be getting one more series.
Not surprised, after how poor Boba Fett and Obi Wan were, folks probably didn't want to waste more time, I very nearly skipped it myself.

Glad I didn't though, it's on a par with Mandalorian, for different reasons though - feels like a fully fleshed out star wars universe, loads of attention to detail, albeit a little slow at times but have no issue with that. Even the episodes where little happens, i'm gripped throughout and it demands my attention. I'd often find my attention wandering with the last few star wars shows mentioned above.

some people guessing it's a new thing from the recent law change, or perhaps they get you so indoctrinated you are like whatever or its the empire just getting less and less careful and being complacent? They don't seem to care much e.g not listening etc

I'm getting annoyed how short the episodes are, not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

As said earlier, Andor himself is getting a bit bland.

He was hardly Mr. Charisma in Rogue One.

I don't find him a particularly strong actor, it's weird they based a series around him.

And what's with his half assed hands behind his head when all the other actors are locking their fingers together? He looks like he's just lightly touching his ears.

I did enjoy episode 9 though.

Now... the next episode should be something decent if it follows the 3 episode cycle...

That was s l o w.... not quite a struggle but not too much development, obviously some very critical but, v e r y s l o w l y...........

Wait a week to find out i guess. :p

I cant calculate how much time has actually passed here but it cant be too long according to the outside worlds storylines.
Inside the prison though.... God it actually feels like a prison sentence. Genius writing/pacing or just tedious lol

is it 40(that was shown as passing) + a few more say ... 60 days? A few months at most?

I'm really enjoying Andor, I think it's the best thing since the mandalorian. Fett wasn't the best, although I still liked it because anything with boba id love.

Obi Wan wasnt great but I didn't have that high hopes for it anyway so wasn't disappointed. I'm not actually a huge fan of jedis on star wars, I'm more of a bounty hunter kinda guy.

Andor is really enjoyable. I'm hooked in each episode and 9 was brilliant. With so much crap on the TV these days, the star wars series have been part of the little I watch and really enjoy.

Star wars really needed a lift after the abysmal recent films. Rogue one and Solo I liked but as for the others, absolutely atrocious. With so much watered down crap destroying everything these days it felt liked it had evened ruined star wars, the series have been a great turn around.

The Prison for cassius certainly came from nowhere, its going to be interesting to see how they get out of that one. The empire is closing the net thats for sure.

I'm definitely going to be looking forward to Mando series 3 in Feb.

I've got no issues with Diego Luna either by the way.
