Mine installed in a few minutes, in fact it was probably quicker than any of the beta installs.

Just released I've finally got Google Assistant with this final build, didn't have it on any of the betas.
 
Amazing announcement. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!

Amazing new features shown as well, and loads of time devoted to showing them off in real world scenarios.

Good work Google!
 
Looks like there's quite a few problems!

Pixel XL users have had issues installing the 'Small 65MB Update' and then after installing that got another update at 950MB
Pixel Users have had an update that weighs in at 38.5MB. But no sign of the second update.

Not sure if the second update on the Pixel XL was a mistake?

Rumours that Factory images aren't working for some XL users either.
 
Downloaded the system image, but not really feeling like flattening the Pixel C to install it...
Will give it a couple of weeks to see if the OTA is coming in by then.

I've not looked at any of the developer previews for it, so hoping it'll be a worthwhile upgrade.
7.1 has been rock solid for me.

Edit: Not really sure how many Pixel C users there are out there still.
 
Well it would seem the article stating they found animation clock code hidden within the image was a load of bull

yup, the icon clock is still static

and google, can you have a word with the google keep team please. They haven't updated to the new dynamic icon api

I updated mine last night to celebrate being exactly a year behind the curve :D so much for Motorola/Lenovo providing quick updates as it's basically stock Android.

Been waiting an age for this update to the Force X - any bit issues with it so far? Not had a great experience with other Lenovo Android updates, the 7.1.1 update to the OH's Moto Z killed 128GB SD card support.

None so far, seems to be working fine.
Although I may do a reset tonight as my phone has generally been getting a little clunky over the last few weeks, but then it's got 18 months worth of crap stored up.
 
Installed on my 6P last night (coming from the beta), no issues to report. Just a shame I'll have to wait another year to see it on the S7E.....

Jumped on the BETA program last night to get the OTA straight away. Not sure whether that was the best way of doing it, but it seems to have worked OK.

Unfortunately bluetooth still sucks with my headphones :(

I'd be very disappointed if they STILL haven't got bluetooth sorted on 8. How many years is it going to take them. Spotify in the car is a must for me.
If it doesn't work later today when I'm driving home I will reevaluate my options.
