I am really looking forward to the Android O release today at 7:30 pm London time preceded by NASA coverage of the total solar eclipse. What makes this solar eclipse coverage perspective unique I believe is the fact that NASA is using its deep space orbiter vehicle to film the eclipse from above the moon so that the rolling effect of the eclipse starting with Salem, Oregon on the West Coast will be seen moving southeasterly across the US to Charleston, South Carolina on the East Coast. This perspective, rather than the previous one showing the eclipse from Earth. As previously posted, check the Android Eclipse website page link below later today or now if you want some fascinating background leading up to the event.
And of course the shape of the "shadow" on earth lends itself to my guess that we are about to see the Android "O" reveal as an "Oreo", with the dark circle (the eclipse is actually more an oblong shape than a circle, but close enough) and the white shimmering sunlight on the edges of the circle (the corona) reminding me of an Oreo. 7:30 pm tonight it starts.
