I hope they include a manual. I bought the Anon 1404 gold edition two week ago one cd no manual and a cd key that does not work with the venice add on.

This looks fab. There are too many games I want to preorder at the moment, bah I need more spare time!

I like the idea of underwater units and I loved the gameplay of anno 1404.

dont blame him tbh

im not condoning it but stupid DRM schemes encourage piracy rather than stop it imo

This.

It amuses me when companies put games back a month or two on PC for no apparent reason other than to milk console sales. When it's finally released on PC, a lot of people will think "fine, **** you too. I'm going to pirate it". Same goes for shoddy console ports. My brother paid good money for Dead Space, and he can't even play it. The controls are broken. Me and a friend got Gears of War to play online, and look how that turned out

I won't condone piracy (my OCD demands I have pretty boxes! :D), but I certainly don't blame people for it sometimes.

Currently the only info is "RELEASE DATE: FALL 2011".

Thank-you :) - fingers crossed it is soon!

I agree, I don't in anyway condone piracy and love my Steam collection - but there is nothing more frustrating that buying a game and finding out that the pirates don't have to put up with all this DRM rubbish (activation, GFWL). Even more frustrating when these systems fail and only the pirate edition still works. I can certainly understand why people do it.

I never got on with Anno 1404. I seemed to make a town and then that was it. What more is there to do? Maybe I totally missed the point, but this does look really good. I might go back to Anno 1404, but I'm not sure there's much point.
