For those who came last time, the Caterham track driving has now been changed to the latest Clio Cup cars.

5 second 0 - 60 time.

Oli is a pro racing driver and appearing in BTCC next season, however he was not allowed to enter the competition Otherwise that would be a little unfair It was more of a PR thing!

Whoa, things are getting tight at the top, 8 tenths separating the top 5, then a yawning gap (another 8 tenths) to my 31.1

I wouldn't mind betting by the end of March, most of those top 6 will have a 29 in them.

Not that it matters now but you duped my time with anothers' time in an earlier post so just keep an eye on those minor clerical errors!?!

Can I come along to the Wolves one just to have a crack on VR again as I'm warming myself (and SWMBO) up to picking one up later in the year? or is it only for competition entries? That's only 25 minutes drive for me.

What would your wife make of you giving out blows? She down with that Hal?

Apologies for my recent absences Hal! My business had an unexpected busy January and also my son has been poorly the last few weeks. Basically I have had zero free time lol.

However on a brighter note, I managed to escape the office this afternoon and set a time of 1.30.315. I think this puts me 5th on the leaderboard based on the times above.

I kind of got used to the VR after 7 to 8 laps and my fastest lap was my last lap. The brakes seemed a lot better on the VR setup compared to my G29 wheel/pedal setup. I was braking far too early on some corners. It made me jump when the seat started moving about as that was completely unexpected! lol

I am just wondering if have you got a rough date in mind for the real world racing part?

Finally, I might pop down on Sunday as I reckon I am going to need a 1.29 to get on the trackday! I set a nice time of 1.29.4 on my wheel last night so I know I can do it!

P.S Just watched the video of us all with the speeches at the end, I now know why they call me meatball head at my work haha

If you are planning on coming on Sunday, book ASAP, as its filling up pretty fast! Think we are around 75% full right now.

I saw it on a blog website that the date was 1st of April for the Palmersport day, I thought I would double check as I would not be able to go if it was the weekend after. ( That is if I get through! )

Depends on the venue I expect, being born and bred in Wolves I can confirm certain parts of it are an absolute ****hole...I had enough so moved out to Telford in July 2015, lovely out here in the sticks.
