**Announcing the Overclockers UK Racing Championship**

It's changed again, rain early on, drying during the day then 60% chance of rain around 4pm, about the time we'll be getting in the F3000 lol

Wear your big boy pants gents, this could be a tricky one....

Well that was another awesome Palmersports day, thanks to all the tam at Overclockers for putting on this competition I've enjoyed every bi of it, even the rain drenched F3000 laps today...

Brilliant, hopefully we can do it again...

Yup, I just wanted to firstly apologise if I seemed a bit ungrateful or in any way annoyed when I kicked up a fuss. I totally wasn't, let me explain :)

I was massively surprised to even be in the top 3 because my average in the morning session was like 3rd and a bit, and then I completely failed in the jeeps and caterhams. So when they said me and James were equal on points, at that very moment I'd just watched the lap on my phone and thought it was fine, because of a conversation I'd had with Miles (not Michael, got his name wrong), who's the guy that adjudicates the laps.
So then i was like 'hmm have they definitely checked this properly' which is why i pushed things a bit to see what would happen.....it was worth a try guys!

At the end i was genuinely happy to have come 3rd as James and Mathieu were properly quick. Then when they announced the prizes i felt well guilty for acting up, couldn't believe I'd actually won a decent PC for just finishing 3rd.
There was no beating MGT on the day - just brilliant to keep up that consistency, focus and not make the critical errors on the runs, I got totally schooled. Very tough to do, you're on another level dude.

Overclockers team - thank you for a a superbly thought out and executed competition, just doing 2 full palmersport days in itself was a great prize and has satiated my driving bug for the year.

I won't be doing anything this year but next year when I'm back at work, I'll start doing palmersport and the radical experiences on trackdays.co.uk every few months, from April onwards.
I'm always looking for decent drivers to do track days with so if any of you guys want to sort something out, drop me a PM any time.

here was my lap - the best experience i've ever had in a car, hands down. Wet weather driving is just incredible. i should have put in a 1.29, i completely messed up the 1st chicane.

It'd be amazing to drive genuine downforce cars in the wet.
i think before i die i'll have to do a season in F4 for £100k, even if it means selling a house and all possessions. genuinely think its worth it.

Can I just say a big, big thankyou again for this championship Overclockers UK!! It really was brilliant, and had a great atmosphere! I still watch this video (I've watched it 4 times through rendering, commentating on it and uploading) and just love the fact I got to do this twice, never mind once! Well played again to the top 3, especially my team mates Matty and Jimbo!

So it's about a year since the last one was announced, any plans for another one? Project Cars 2 anyone? Stick a 1080ti in there and show us what a high end machine can pump out?

It's a nice idea... shame for me about the specific requirement... I'll kick all your asses in real life... but when it comes to a game... seems I don't even qualify :( :(

(I was a good 1-2s off the pace when I had a go in project cars with my rift... didn't realise how much I drive with my ass until I tried playing a driving game)
