Right, me and this lad were given a job today to lift some boxes up to the 3rd floor. I cracked on with the job and this lad was incredibly slow, moping around the place, only taking the really light boxes and after each box he moved, he sat down for a second. Now he is only a year younger than me (21) and his attitude stank. I was getting really pee'd off with him because I wanted to go for my lunch but couldn't until the boxes were moved. I kept on asking him to hurry up a little bit but he just moaned all the time, then I decided to call him a ****** lazy idiot.

He is now going to tell my boss that I verbally abused him and will probably get in trouble for it, whilst he does no work all day. He also gets paid the same amount of money as me and I do 10x more work than he does.

AARRGRGGGHHH!!

Sorry, rant over.

Tell ur boss u r unhappy that he is a lazy ****. Nicely ofcourse

Aye just explain the situation. I think they would be more willing to let a lazy slacker go than someone who verbally abuses lazy slackers.

What a little bitch to run off to tell the boss when you're just being honest.
If I was him I'd just tell you to **** off and leave it at that but I'm not a lazy scrote so it wouldn't happen.

He's digging himself a grave by calling you out.

if your boss pulls you up just say as you posted above

Agree, best to be perfectly clear to your boss that you were fustrated at his utter laziness, and decided to state a fact to his face.
Tell your boss you go to work to work and get a days work done, not to work while some lazy ****e stands back and watches.

Tell the boss yourself, something like don't pair me up with that lazy **** cos you can get the job done quicker on your own next time and see what happens :D.

Ahh thanks guys, will tell the boss exactly what I have said here (possibly without swearing!) We are supposed to be doing the same thing today but I'm gunna ask someone else to help

This, leave out the swearing, keep it professional and simply explain the situation. Your boss will already know about this lazy person if he has any common sense, they stick out like a sore thumb around hard workers. The difficultly can be doing something to tackle them, at least it is in my place. I've got 2 in my team and despite producing metrics & performance stats for 2 years showing just how poor they are I still can't get shot of them :(

I threatened to rip a Dudes face off whilst having a smoke outside the store & he went & told the Manager.
They called me in the office obviously expecting me to own up, I blatantly lied in there face & told them that we had words but I never said that he must have mis understood my accent & slang.
The managers couldn't do **** all.
I ended up moaning at them for pulling me off my eisle. :p

Moral of the story - Lie through your teeth they can't prove ****. Admit it & they have to set there BS rules/practices into action.
