If she was pulling out of a driveway it raises the question she must have been on it for a reason. Her or a friends house?
The snow on the windshield Id say she had only just pulled away as it would melt off a warm bonnet could probably argue she couldnt see how of her windows properly?
A turn in the road there is still as dangerous manover and she should still be liable, if you were speeding I would say there would have been far more damage just looks all cosmetic on your car.

So she is claiming she was doing a 3 point turn, that just so happened to be outside her house, where you are claiming she pulled off her driveway.
Common sense says what should happen, but unfortunately this never seems to work - I put my money on it going 50/50.

the police did not do much otherwise than ran checks on the two cars. She admitted to me that she did not see me when she pulled out. She would not give me her details till the police turned up. After the police came they could her to write down her insurance details and give it to me. Then told me to get the insurance company to deal with it (the accident).
When the accident happened she just sat in her car, calling people and talking on the phone for about 10 mins, blocking both lanes of the road, She wouldn't even get out of her car. I then got her to move her car forward a bit so as to free up one lane as people were get really p-ed off and beeping as both lanes were blocked. Thats when i took the pics as the pics show her car more forward into my lane.

if she pulled out of her drive then in was still her fault, if she was doing a 3 point turn using her drive then it was still her fault because she pulled out onto a major road and hit somebody, if she claims she was in the road doing a 3 point turn then its also her fault as she is supposed to cease all movement immanently when she sees another car coming and wait for them to pass
Go round and knock on her door (you know where she lives!) and just ask her what she thinks shes playing at by changing her story and now lieing?
Do all of this whilst using one of THESE, it won't hold up in any sort of court but your insurance company will take a very dim view to her admitting she changed her story and is just trying to avoid taking a fault claim.
Drag the lies out of by asking her questions on the stop she won't have considered like why she was doing a 3 point turn right outside her house apparently, why she admitted to you and police officers at the side of the road that it was her fault etc...
She'll either make up more stupid lies and try and bluff her way out or crack giving you proof shes lieing.

But would surely that count against me, she would claim that I was trying to threaten her or such? Even if I did record the conversation, the police would not likely take a dim view of it.
Personally I would be going round and asking her what the **** she thinks she's playing at as I'd be fuming if their was any chance It would go down as not being 100% entirely the other parts fault, of course this is probably not recommended and I doubt it all help you in anyway.
her argument is that the path was clear and you were driving like a lunatic and thus didnt leave yourself with enough room to brake when met with somebody performing a legal manoeuvre in the middle of the road.
Seriously, if she is prepared to lie this much, her insurance co will send a solicitor that backs up and argues these lies as well.

despite Blatently being at fault, the court still ruled in the other parties favour ! If they are prepared to lie this much, your going to be in for a VERY long haul.

Just ring her up and say, can we drop the case, then go around and smash her car up to the value its going to cost you in extra insurance money.
