That mainboard is every bit as good as the P6T (dependant as always on what reviews you read), and up until very recently was about £227 if I remember rightly.
It supports sli and crossfire, has 6 dimm slots, good at overclocking, what more can you ask for. At that price it's an absolute bargain.

Ganging up on me, are we? Not my fault that I'm a magician, takes years of practice to become a master speccer.

I see that there is a bit of beef.
I have gone over the budget because I believe it is better to buy good quality components altogether, rather than having to upgrade constantly. If you're going for i7, you may as well spend a little more and go all out.
As for the Foxconn, from what I've read it seems more of a 'digital lifestyle' board
