After reading a few posts from people i gave logitech cs a email with my problem on my g7 carbon. when i pressed the left mouse button it sometimes double clicks even treble clicks sometimes very annoying. Any way emailed them Sunday night got a mail back today suggesting a few things and asking when and where i brought it from. Already tried there suggestions so mailed back and within 2 hours they mailed again saying they would send me a g9x as the g7 was not available anymore.

You cant beat that for cs on a nearly 3 year old mouse. Anyone have any experience with the g9x is it a good replacement!

Theyre support is the best ive ever experienced, they replaced my borked G5 with a new G500. Didnt have to destroy the old mouse or send it back. Now if only xfx can offer as good a service concerning my gtx 280 graphics card.

Oh nice.

What e-mail did you use please? my old G7 looks in mint condition, but it has a odd scrolling issue :(

Had great experience with them too.!

All they asked for was a photo of the keyboard with the serial sticker on it, and a copy of my online recipt from OcUK and they sent me an updated version of my broken keyboard with lazer mouse.! :D

Great news on Logitech. This is a common issue with mice, and can be fixed easily (I just fixed my MX Revolution the other week). It's caused by the leaf spring in the microswitch getting worn, and you can either try the mechanical fix of reshaping the piece of metal, or the electrical fix of replacing the 90pence microswitch. Choice is yours!

Or get a brand new mouse from Logitech? :p

My problem is that my G7 scrolls up pages whenever it feels like on top of the double clicking issue :p
